Idoma mainly in the lower western areas of Benue State, south of the Benue River; also in Taraba, Cross River, Enugu, Kogi and Nasarawa; Och'Idoma heads the Idoma Area Traditional Council. Its 2006 census figure for the Idoma is not recorded (the census did not publish ethnicity).
