Dispute over the first-class stool of Takum (Ukwe Takum) since 1996, after the death of Ukwe Ali Kufang. An executive bill created three third-class chiefdoms and one first-class stool rotating among the Chamba, Jukun and Kuteb. Two third-class chiefs approved (Tsohon Jukun Takum; Gar Chamba Takum); the Kuteb Yatso declined to take part, opposing rotation of 'our ancestral stool'.
