Leaves, bark, and seed oil are used across Africa and Asia for malaria, fever, skin infections, and as an insect repellent; neem twigs are commonly used as chewing sticks.
Cultivation
A hardy, drought-tolerant shade and shelterbelt tree, easily grown from seed and widely planted along roadsides and around homesteads.
