Overview

The Kamwe are a people of Adamawa State, named by Wikipedia among the state's ethnic groups. Other names include Higi, Higgi, Hiji, Kapsiki. Blench's Atlas places their language, a Chadic language of the Higi group, in Michika LGA and across the border in Cameroon. Wikipedia places the Kamwe in the north and centre of the state. The sources place them in Michika LGA.
