The Ohimege Opanda holds one of the 22 first-class traditional stools of Nasarawa State listed by Daily Trust in 2012. Blueprint (2024) calls him the Ohimege Opanda of Egbura land and a first-class monarch, with his palace at Umaisha in Toto LGA. The Egbura are a group of the Ebira; Blench's Atlas lists Egbura as a name of the Ebira language.
