The Olu of Ilaro is the traditional ruler of Ilaro, the headquarters of Yewa South, and is also the Paramount Ruler of Yewaland, the land of the Yewa (formerly Egbado) people (Wikipedia). Oba Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbenle has held the title since 14 April 2012 (Wikipedia), and in June 2024 he was inaugurated as chairman of the Ogun State Council of Traditional Rulers (The Gazette). The history of the title is not described in a source read.
