Basa-Gurmana is a language of Niger State, according to Roger Blench's Atlas of Nigerian Languages (2020), which classifies it as Kainji (Western Kainji: Kamuku–Basa group). The Atlas places it at Kafin Gurmana, on the border of Rafi and Chanchaga LGAs. Other names include Kɔrɔmba. Speaker figures in the Atlas: more than 2,000 (1987).
