Gvoko is a language spoken in Michika LGA of Adamawa State, according to Roger Blench's Atlas of Nigerian Languages (2020), which classifies it as Chadic (Biu–Mandara A: Mandara/Mafa/Sukur major group, Mandara group). Other names include Gəvoko, Ngoshe Ndaghang, Ngweshe Ndhang, Nggweshe. It is also spoken in Gwoza LGA of Borno State. The Atlas cites speaker figures of 2,500 (1963); 4,300 (SIL 1973); more than 20,000 (1990 estimate).
