Gyem is a language spoken in Toro LGA of Bauchi State, according to Roger Blench's Atlas of Nigerian Languages (2020), which classifies it as Benue–Congo (Kainji: Eastern Kainji, Northern Jos group). Other names include Gema. It is spoken in Lame district. The Atlas cites speaker figures of 2,000 (estimate 2015).
