Idun is a language spoken in Karu LGA of Nasarawa State, according to Roger Blench's Atlas of Nigerian Languages (2020), which classifies it as Plateau (Koro; Nyankpa–Idun cluster). Other names include Adong; Jaba Lungu. It is also spoken in Jema'a and Jaba LGAs of Kaduna State. The Atlas cites speaker figures of twenty-one villages (2008). Glottolog lists it as Dũya (idun1241), in the Koroic group of Plateau, matching the Atlas's placement in Koro.
