Jijili is a language of Niger State, according to Roger Blench's Atlas of Nigerian Languages (2020), which classifies it as Plateau (Southern: Jili group). The Atlas places it in Chanchaga and Suleja LGAs, north of the road from Minna to Suleja around Kafin Koro. Other names include Tanjijili, Koro Funtu. Speaker figures in the Atlas: about 8,000 in some eight settlements (1999).
