Kadara is a language of Niger State, according to Roger Blench's Atlas of Nigerian Languages (2020), which classifies it as Plateau (Northern group). The Atlas places the cluster mainly in Kachia and Kajuru LGAs of Kaduna State, with Eda also in Paikoro LGA of Niger State. Its members include Eda, Edra, Enezhe. Other names include Adara. Speaker figures in the Atlas: 22,000 (1949); 40,000 (1972). The Atlas notes a South dialect of Kadara named after Minna, and reading materials published in 2006.
