Kofa is a language spoken in Song LGA of Adamawa State, according to Roger Blench's Atlas of Nigerian Languages (2020), which classifies it as Chadic (Bura group). Other names include Kota. It is spoken north of the Belel road. The Atlas notes that its linguistic status is not certain, but that it is locally said to be a separate language.
