Mukta is a language spoken in Adamawa State, according to Roger Blench's Atlas of Nigerian Languages (2020), which classifies it as Central Chadic (Kamwe cluster). The Atlas places it at Mukta village in Adamawa State, without naming an LGA. It forms a dialect cluster with Hya in Cameroon. No separate Glottolog entry was found.
