The Agworok (Kagoro) Chiefdom is the traditional state of the Agworok, in Kaura LGA. According to Wikipedia, it was created in 1905 by the British colonial administration as one of three independent districts of Southern Zaria Province, and it is a first-class chiefdom. Its ruler, the Agwam Agworok, also called the Chief of Kagoro, is Dr Ufuwai Bonet; in September 2025 the State House marked his 90th birthday and described him as deputy chairman of the Kaduna State Council of Chiefs and Emirs. The start of his reign is not given in a source read.
