The Hama Bachama is the paramount ruler of the Bachama (Bwatiye) Kingdom, with his palace at Numan, and a first-class traditional ruler of Adamawa State. Dr Daniel Ismaila Shaga, the 29th Hama Bachama, received his first-class staff of office from Governor Ahmadu Fintiri in December 2020; he succeeded the late Irmiya Stephen (Kwire Mana Kpafrato II) (The Will, 2020). Wikipedia lists the stool as the Numan Chiefdom, first class.
